Volunteer

If you are interested in gaining leadership and management experience; learning more about technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and taking advantage of professional networking opportunities through the MIT Enterprise Forum global network, read on. The MIT Enterprise Forum chapter in Dallas Fort Worth is always looking for energetic volunteers and leaders to help shape the future of this growing and vibrant chapter.

The MIT Enterprise Forum is entirely organized and operated by volunteers. Just as the Forum programs are open to anyone with an interest in technology entrepreneurship and innovation, so too are volunteer opportunities with the Enterprise Forum. Anyone who shares its vision of building innovative, technology-based businesses through entrepreneurial leadership can become a volunteer. Most Enterprise Forum volunteers are drawn not only from the ranks of technology entrepreneurs, but also from the entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports them in North Texas.

If you think you have the right leadership qualities, experience, contacts, and/or motivation to help move this chapter to the next level, please contact us to arrange in person meeting to talk about how your skill sets can be most effectively utilized.

Programs

The Forum conducts a series of educational programs throughout the year revolving around technology-based entrepreneurship. Many of these programs are case studies of new business ventures dealing with the many challenges of building new businesses, whether start-ups or new ventures within established companies. The Forum volunteers develop the program, and acquire speakers, panelists and moderators.

Marketing

Forum volunteers communicate the Forum’s mission, programs and activities to the Forum’s members and to the general business population interested in technology-based entrepreneurship in North Texas.  Marketing volunteers have the opportunity to participate on the social media and/or editorial committee.  These committees design and execute our social media strategy and promote the Chapter website by writing blog articles, soliciting guest submissions and designing marketing materials for programs.

Interested volunteers should contact us at chairman at mitforum dot com and should include a brief summary  of their skills and interested volunteer areas.
